This just so amazing everything from the start to finish. The sword fight and the space battle background is just amazing.

Shiroshiroshirosan • 1 year ago

That is what space opera should be like, meleeing on the bridge of a Capital Ship with a raging spacing battle outside

the Finance Guy • 1 year ago

The only criticism on the sword fight is the unrealistic static sword bind. No expert in sword fighting would do a static sword bind since it's so easy to counter.

Reemus • 1 year ago

The overall captain's bridge fight was rather nonsensical. It ended conveniently and without any actual resolution, this whole situation would logically end with utter defeat of Roenthal. This is likely my first and hopefully my last coherency issue with this series.

Esenpai • 1 year ago

Why do you say it would logically end with the utter defeat of Reuenthal?

MeguminExplosion • 1 year ago

To fool your enemies you must fool your allies.

wwlaos • 1 year ago

It's a good thing, then, that the Free Planets Alliance is so easy to fool! XD

JULIAN hold on! Don't you dare become collateral DMG in fight between gods!

NetroLancer • 1 year ago

The FPA leadership and Fezzan are gonna rue the day for not listening to Julian and Bewcock.

I remember when this show started it felt like very fast paced compared to the original. But as this is the first invsasion / battle since long time the execution was beyond expectations and honestly was comparable if not better than the previous one.

I literally screamed over the tactical dance that was displayed from zero to 24 minutes.

vovan1 • 1 year ago

me too, this show getting back the speed finally

Daniel Collins • 1 year ago

This show is so underrated.

the Finance Guy • 1 year ago

The Rosenritter should of attached some explosives on the bulkhead of Reuenthal's ship on their way off to score some more points. Probably won't take out the ship but keep Reuenthal occupied on repairing their flagship.

Esenpai • 1 year ago

That would've probably been harassing at best and, if anything, would've only served to help sell Reuenthal's diversion as his goal was never to take Iserlohn in the first place, after all.

the Finance Guy • 1 year ago

Nothing better than harassing your enemy into making a mistake. Maybe it isn't his goal to take Iserlohn but when you step on someone's pride, plans go out the window.

The information war propaganda is in full swing now. Ragnorok!

Lex • 1 year ago

Wow, the melee battle of pretty intense and how there's no friendly fire with all the beam and missile flying everywhere, tho it's a missed opportunity to see the imperial side using nuclear warheads instead of normal missiles toward the fortress, plus the lack of broadside cannon and missiles during the melee battle.

One Autumn Leaf • 1 year ago

Thats the weird thing on this anime. They like to use nuclear weapons on civilian but don't use it while fighting enemies, especially FPA

Lex • 1 year ago

Yeah, planetary warhead or other cruise missiles were used couple of times on Classic whether it used on planet or other ships but for some reasons they only used warheads twice on DNT
(1. where they nuke a planet, 2. where julian destroyed one of the imperial cruiser that is ready to deploy all it's warhead)

spam swarm missiles is cool to watch but doesn''t felt the same weight as big 1 shot fatman on Classic.

One Autumn Leaf • 1 year ago

I think in season 3 they should use nukes to destroy the ship's dock as a first plan before they launch their marines or also as a backup plan if their marines fail to take the Iserlohn central control. Because we can imagine that even 1 nuke can destroy a large area in the shipyard, not to mention if one FPA ship explodes it could hit other ships around it, and remember there are more than 10 thousand warships in Iserlohn

NetroLancer • 1 year ago

One of the few fights that I was anticipating the most of this show was Reunthal vs Schonkopf. Very good and flashy, but I still like the og better it was more personnel.

monstercameron • 1 year ago

very exciting episode!

Sun chan • 9 months ago

Once again, they didn't believe him

It was a fierce battle between Yang's and Reuenthal's forces

Also, the fact that Yang is feeling down without Julian is so wholesome. He even thought that he shouldn't have let him go

Robert • 8 months ago

You’d think a person they call miracle Yang they’d actually put weight into his opinion.

Anime007 • 1 year ago

It's the beginning of the end but whose end is what I really am curious about!

icy • 1 year ago

Oooh boy another piller is going to complete the twin piller. Let's see how the binary star do against yang

LETS GO THE BEGINNING OF THE END!!!

Ethan_Ninja • 1 year ago

FPA's action to intercept Reuenthal's fleet are worthy of giving an applause!!

Amidst the battle that Oskar was bracing towards Iserohn, he got seem to carried away until the Rosen Ritter battalion just invaded their ship!!
The hype just getting bigger & I was immense by those actions!!

NEVER!

Reemus • 1 year ago

The weakest episode so far. Virtually nothing happened in it, neither plot nor action-wise. No change since the beginning of it. They could have pushed the whole "distraction" plot into 5 minutes without that cheap Reuenthal bridge boarding, and proceeded with main force departure for the Fezzan corridor. I understand the need for pacing, but it just looks very amateur, against the background of the rest of the series/season.

Sir Prise • 1 year ago

All of it was in the original and trust me, everything was necessary. Maybe your comment isn't, but every second in the episode was.

Out of all the episodes, you point this as the weakest? The climax of the season? Thats pretty nonsensical.
